Gregory W. Engle, former U.S. Ambassador to Togo in Africa, spoke to Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology employees at the Faculty Staff Council breakfast meeting recently. Engle said international students who are studying at OSUIT's campus can be vital links to preparing U.S. students to be globally competitive.

Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology is currently taking applications for entry in the January 2011 semester for the Associate in Applied Science degree program in Registered Nursing. This is the first time OSUIT has offered spring entrance into its nursing program, and there will be 30 openings for students.

Students at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology could save hundreds of dollars on textbooks starting this fall semester with a textbook rental program offered by the university's Bookstore.

If you have been to a game at the new Tulsa Drillers ONEOK Field, you have seen the new gigantic media screen with its flashy images. An Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology Multimedia student, Preston Lynn from Sulphur, helped develop the content for the screen while working as an intern for the Drillers.
