Our MAIP industries told our trustees they wanted to make their employees more competitive in a global economy. Our solution, supported 100 percent by our trustees, was to partner with OSU Institute of Technology to establish a training center designed specifically to meet our employers' needs. OSU Institute of Technology's Training Center at the MAIP has proved to be a significant asset for our industries and a great marketing tool for us.

Jim Swank, RAE Corp.

The instructors at OSU Institute of Technology/MidAmerica were very knowledgeable in the electrical and electronic field. Their labs are equipped to duplicate what is used in industry, and that gave me the hands-on learning that I needed. The material was presented very well and related the topics to how it would be used in the workplace. While pursuing my degree I was required to take a variety of coursed ranging from electrical to electronics and instrumentation as well as computers. The variety of coursework qualified me for different jobs within my place of employment.

OSU Institute of Technology/MidAmerica was a great choice for me. I improved my job skills, giving me the potential for advancement and I did it at my convenience.
